William Weaver is a young closeted trans man in a small UK village in a distinctly historically inaccurate mediaeval-esque period. He’s also a witch. Pippa Smith is a young witch, alone in the world. So when these two meet in the woods one night, they become close friends. Fast forward several years, and they live together. But the townspeople are beginning to get suspicious, and in a time of witch burning and no women’s rights, their paradise life can’t last for long…
