This week it’s Fern Brady, a stand-up who’s appeared on shows like 8 out of 10 cats and live at the Apollo, co-hosted hugely successful podcast Wheel of Misfortune, and was recently in a travelogue show on Dave called British As Folk alongside Ivo Graham and Darren Harriott. She’s also written her first book, a memoir due out in 2023. In this episode we talk about growing up with a moustache, the frankly absurd number of jobs she did before comedy, and the supplementary money spinner that eventually resulted in her death.
