Juliany Taveras is an American playwright, artist, and facilitator. Their plays include YAELIS, The Anatomy of Light, and the 2023 fall production of Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress at the Children's Theatre Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The story is adapted from Christine Baldacchino and Isabelle Malenfant children’s book of the same name. From Ayití Bohio (Dominican Republic) by way of Lenapehoking (New York City), Juilany's work centers around the lives of the Afro/Indigenous and queer/trans diasporas.
