Erick shares his journey as a Black gay American digital nomad in Europe. He opens up about coming out at 28 years old, diffusing internalized homophobia, and rediscovering himself abroad. Erick also reflects on the inspiration of Black American writer James Baldwin, creating Our Black Gay Diaspora during a 2021 visit to Stockholm, Sweden, and what it means to build a global community for Black LGBTQ+ citizens.
