And it challenges the view\nheld by many environmentalists that the only way to save the planet\nis for all of us to get by with less.
\n
Guest Michael Shellenberger is is coauthor of An\nEcomodernist Manifesto, a which argues that human prosperity\nand an ecologically vibrant planet go hand-in-hand. There's no\npollution that comes out of nuclear plants.\" He says that we can\nboost growth all over the world and still set aside more land for\nnature and wildlife. Michael makes argument that humans, who have\ncaused so much destruction to the planet, have the ingenuity to\nsave it.
\n
Michael recently started a new group, EnvironmentalProgress.org\nand is the author of the book \"Break\nThrough: From the Death of Environmentalism to the Politics of\nPossibility.\" He calls on those who care about the future of\nthe planet to reject the language of limits and embrace possibility\nand the aspirations of people around the world who strive to\nimprove their standard of living.
\n

","author_name":"DaviesContent"}
