The problems are always clamoring for\nattention. Solutions, you really do have to be proactive and go\nlook for them.\"
\n
David says that solutions journalism focuses not just on\nwhat may be working, but how and why it appears to be working, or\nalternatively, why it may be stumbling. Using the best available\nevidence, it delves deep into the how-to’s of problem solving,\noften structuring stories as puzzles or mysteries that investigate\nquestions like: What models are having success reducing the dropout\nrate in public schools? How do they actually work? What are they\ndoing differently than others that are resulting in a better\noutcome?
\n
Solutions Journalism network goes into newsrooms around\nthe country, and trains editors and reporters on the imperatives of\nthe \"now what\" aspect of reporting. Solutions journalism\nhelps news organizations play a stronger role in the communities\nthey serve.
","author_name":"DaviesContent"}
