After hosting the hit US storytelling show ‘The Moth’, she moved to London and was subsequently nominated for a prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Award and a Chortle Award.</p><p>Sara’s TV appearances include: Live at the Apollo (BBC One), Would I Lie to You? (BBC One), Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), Roast Battle (Comedy Central) and Hypothetical (Dave), 8 Out of 10 Cats&nbsp;(C4),&nbsp;Richard Osman’s House of Games&nbsp;(BBC),&nbsp;Comedy Game Night Dave Gorman: Terms and Conditions Apply, Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled&nbsp;(DAVE),and&nbsp;Hello, America&nbsp;(Quibi). On radio, her credits include appearances on&nbsp;The&nbsp;News Quiz,&nbsp;The Now Show, and&nbsp;Woman’s Hour&nbsp;on Radio 4.</p><p>Her two stand-up hours,&nbsp;For Worse&nbsp;(2018) and&nbsp;Enemies Closer&nbsp;(2019) sold out at both the Edinburgh Festival and at multiple runs in London’s Soho Theatre. She was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and at the Chortle Awards, as well as receiving rave reviews from publications including The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Evening Standard and The Scotsman!&nbsp;</p><p>As a writer, Sara has published two essay collections,<a href=\"https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/9039/people-are-unappealing-by-sara-barron/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;People are Unappealing</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/207222/the-harm-in-asking-by-sara-barron/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">The Harm in Asking.</a> Her writing has also featured in Vanity Fair and on&nbsp;This American Life.
