Having said that, it is also clear that as these last days progress toward the end times, things on this ungodly earth will get significantly worse, both in the world and in the visible church. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition...</p><p>Now, as we have just passed from 2024, to 2025, it might just be time to look at this world in which we live, and look back over some of the events of the last year, and then look ahead, and try to discern what the future might hold for generations to come. What were the significant events of 2024, and what might the immediate future hold? When Paul warned Timothy about the terrible times, – he gave him a long list, a description of the lowest qualities of mankind, to sum up the kind of age in which we would be living.
