Dr Deanna Swoboda is an Associate Professor of Music at the Arizona State University where she teaches tuba, euphonium and music entrepreneurship.
She is a former tuba player with Dallas Brass and the creator and performer of 'Band Blast Off'.
Deanna is a past President of the International Tuba and Euphonium Association.
She is an Eastman Music Company Tuba Artist and has commissioned over 30 compositions for solo tuba and chamber music.
Her recordings include...Deanna's Wonderland, Shamanic Journey, Table for Three, Fanfare and Flourish, Games for Brass and most recently, Identity.
Deanna is also a member of Athena Brass who played at the Royal Northern International Brass Band Festival in Manchester in January.
