Day six of the Royal Easter Show brought cheap eats, regional pride, and the people keeping you safe. This morning, we head to the small town of Blayney, where a team of volunteers are driving three hours to serve up $5 snag sandwiches at the Big Bush BBQ and raise money for their local showground. Then field reporter Mick Cross takes us on a tour of the district displays in the Woolies Dome, where Central District has taken out first prize for the first time in years. And we meet Dr Ben Mead from St John Ambulance, who started as a cadet at the show in 2015 and keeps coming back. All this on today's Show Radio Catch-Up.
