Ken Russell's 'The Devils' is a historical film about Father Urbain Grandier (Oliver Reed), Sister Jeanne des Anges (Vanessa Redgrave), and the events which lead up to the Loudun possessions in 17th-century France. Upon it's initial release in 1971, 'The Devils' was heavily censored or just outright banned in many countries, making it one of the most controversial films ever made. Jump to today and Warner Bros have finally restored the original cut, remastered it, and are giving it a full cinematic release. Sandro got to see it early, listen in to hear his thoughts!
