We love a videogame adaptation here on the show, especially because we've both dabbled in the gamer lifestyle. However, an adaptation that's actually a completely new story and universe with a brand slapped onto it to make money, that brand being a very popular videogame franchise we've never played, sounded like the perfect pick for this week. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is a sci-fi movie about spirituality and environmentalism and alien dragons. It has an all-star cast of Ming-Na Wen, Alec Baldwin, and Steve Buscemi. So why does no one remember it? We gave it a watch to find out!
