Laurie turns up this week with a voice that’s seen better days after a weekend involving rather too much drinking, dancing and generally behaving like someone who should know better. Naturally, this gets the Waffle team talking about booze, parties and some of their own questionable experiences.
Kat announces that she rather fancies the idea of running a B&B, which prompts Laurie to remember the time he actually had to look after one — and all the stories that came with it. There’s also more from Laurie’s grandad, talk of doing kung fu and the usual collection of conversations that begin somewhere vaguely sensible before disappearing completely off course.
Meanwhile, Trump checks in with the latest goings-on from Cincinnati Street, and Ray Medallion returns — this time with a rather lovely advert to finish the episode.
It’s another freshly unearthed episode from the 2017 archive: three friends, three microphones and absolutely no discernible plan.
