Today, we're feeding the ducks at the lake in Saltwell Park.

Recorded in January, when many of the insects the local birds depend on are hard to come by. I went out and fed the ducks (and swans, and other birds that came along for the meal) peas. Peas are a good snack for ducks as they provide essential proteins and other nutrients. In a prominent location within Saltwell Park, the lake always has people walking by. While recording, a curious dog wanted to get fed as well, his owner told him the peas weren't for them, though - hopefully, they got a crunchy biscuit when they got home, at least!

Thank you for spending some time here on My Favourite Park Bench.
","author_name":"My Favourite Park Bench"}
