A happy family time…or is it? Christmas, or whatever festival you celebrate, is when our emotions are practically tripled in strength including the nice and the not-so-nice ones. It is often when we feel we must conform to society’s version of what should happen on that one day. We can get caught up in a whirlwind of very expensive present buying, the need to have our home and the hospitality we offer to a high standard and pressurised into inviting certain people over. However in the end, we can be left feeling exhausted with frayed nerves and a sense of what-was-that-all-about? So this year why not take the holistic mind, body, spirit approach and enjoy the festivities in the best possible way. The good news is that preparation is everything and it’s never too late to start.

www.drkarenwardtherapist.ie

@drkarenwardtherapist
","author_name":"Dr Karen Ward Therapist"}
