I could have called it boredom, almost a 'seen-it-all-done-it-all' vibe. I lived in a beautiful home, was married to a wonderful man and worked in the holistic profession feeling fulfilled. Now I didn't have children due to infertility but thankfully we had worked through that poignant life challenge. So what was going on?</p><p><br></p><p>I realised that I was at mid-life. All those whispers of this inevitable phase were true. Yet I didn't have an 'empty nest' although I was entering menopause. I recognised a fork in the road.
