In this episode we meet Nic Lamont introduced to me by Lynne Parker of Funny Women fame. I loved talking to Nic to find out how she had decided to go into acting in the first place and how she found her dark comedy niche. I was interested to hear how she bolsters the uncertainty of acting work with 'money jobs' and how she navigated the pandemic, being pregnant and then becoming a new mum whilst also being an actress. I loved to hear that now she has her family she is more decisive on what she will and won't do, has written her own work and most recently set up a community project.
