God has promises for your life. But what if the thing standing between you and what He has spoken isn't God?
In Joshua 1, Moses is dead, a season has ended, and God tells Joshua it is time to arise and go. The land has already been given. The promise is already established. But Joshua still has to move his feet and take possession of it.

There is a difference between knowing the Word and allowing the Word to get inside of you. There is a difference between talking about the promise and partnering with God to possess it. And there is a difference between being comfortable and actually prospering in what God has called you to.
Sometimes the greatest resistance to growth isn't outright disobedience. It's passivity. It's settling for good enough. It's wanting an encounter with God without allowing that encounter to change us.
God is inviting you into more, but more may require leaving something behind. It may require movement. It may stretch you beyond what feels comfortable, familiar, or safe. The promise is there. The question is whether you're ready to arise and go.
