With a jurisdiction from Times Square to Columbus Circle, the series listeners were treated to various tales of crime and murder straight from the gaudiest, most violent, and the most lonesome mile in the world. Originally portrayed by <a href=\"https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0743218/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Ross</a> for the first three months of its airing, the role of <strong>Detective Danny Clover</strong> then transitioned to radio icon Larry Thor. Although the series went relatively under-the-radar amongst other series at the time, it had done a wonderful job tapping into the darker side of radio detective adventures.</p><p><br></p><p>Originally airing 08/14/1950, gather around for this week's murder mystery in \"The Mary Demming Murder Case,\" with <strong>Detective Danny Clover</strong>!</p><p><br></p><p>Enjoying The Film Detective?</p><p>You can watch this episode&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-5ECAa16oA&amp;feature=youtu.be\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>here</strong></a>.</p><p>Or connect with us here:</p><p><a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/filmdetective\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Facebook</strong></a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/thefilmdetective/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Instagram</strong></a></p><p><a href=\"https://twitter.com/FilmDetective\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Twitter</strong></a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/user/filmdetectivevid\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>YouTube</strong></a></p><p>Want even more?
