Our guest is Alberto Alemanno, author, founder of the Good Lobby and professor of EU law at HEC Paris. We discuss how the EU would look like if citizens had the opportunity to engage with decision-makers, if there is a need to reinvent democracy, and what citizens should do to ensure their voices are heard.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To find out more about Alberto's work, check out his <a href=\"https://albertoalemanno.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">website</a> and <a href=\"https://www.thegoodlobby.eu/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">The Good Lobby</a>. </p><p>In this interview we also mention the<a href=\"https://europa.eu/citizens-initiative/_en\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;European Citizen’s Initiative</a>,<a href=\"https://www.europarl.europa.eu/committees/en/peti/home/highlights\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Committee on Petitions (PETI)</a> and Alberto's article <a href=\"https://deliverypdf.ssrn.com/delivery.php?ID=595118123002082086020090123072082068052035058029030050009000082102004024011114067076118021122027111056019101028013083098025104015080078007034112097096121074078065093083017090114099007093083028127113029121114017102079120117001031068086000102123091121&amp;EXT=pdf&amp;INDEX=TRUE\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">\"Unboxing the Conference on the Future of Europe</a>\".</p><p>You can follow Alberto on <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/albertoalemannoeu\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook</a>, <a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/aalemanno/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram</a>, <a href=\"https://twitter.com/alemannoeu\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter</a> and <a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/today/author/alemanno\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Linkedin</a>. </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Thank you</strong> for listening to our show!
