The new space includes a larger infrared sauna and an electric cryotherapy chamber that gives clients more room to move than the business’s previous unit.</p><p>The spa offers massage therapy, whole-body cryotherapy, red light therapy, an infrared sauna, salt therapy, compression therapy, facials, body contouring and cryotherapy services for animals, Tara said.</p><p>She said the spa’s massage therapists tailor appointments to each client, whether the goal is relaxation or attention to a specific area of discomfort.</p><p>“We don’t know the stories of the client that comes in,” Tara said. “We don’t know how their bodies are going to react.”</p><p>Tara also discussed a South Dakota-funded pilot program that provided cryotherapy sessions to 72 veterans. The spa donated additional sessions. She said participants reported improvements in pain and well-being, though the interview did not establish whether cryotherapy caused those changes.</p><p>Supporting veterans is personal for Tara, whose husband is a combat veteran. She said her family also has a history of military and public safety service.
