She created the process in 2000 while grieving the loss of both her parents, and has since coached more than 2,000 clients and delivered the TEDx talk \"Cracking the Grace Code.\" Her work has earned her ICF New England's Life Coach of the Year award and international recognition, including a feature in Marie Claire Hungary.</p><p><br></p><p>In this episode, Anne shares the origin story behind Grace Trail, tracing how the five questions emerged intuitively from the word \"grace\" during that period of grief, and how the practice deepened after her son returned from combat in Afghanistan in 2012. She describes Grace Trail's growth from hand-lettered stones on a Massachusetts trail to more than a dozen licensed installations nationwide, spanning universities, hospitals, schools, and a farm in Texas, with an upcoming VA site honoring her son's service. She also discusses the trail kits she designed for those without trail access, the simple rules that keep it safe — privacy, confidentiality, judgment-free listening — and her hope to expand Grace Trail nationwide and eventually worldwide.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Connect with Anne Barry Jolles:</strong></p><p><a href=\"https://www.gracetrail.com\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Website</a></p><p><a href=\"https://web.facebook.com/AnneBarryJolles/?_rdc=1&amp;_rdr\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/annejolles/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/gracetrailofficial?igsh=aWJldXdtdWRuM3VI&amp;utm_source=qr\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram</a></p><p><a href=\"https://x.com/TheGraceTrail\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">X</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/@Grace_Trail\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube</a></p><p>Get Anne’s <a href=\"https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B017DYXJPS\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">books!</a></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Let's Connect:&nbsp;</strong></p><p><a href=\"https://lovingandlivingyourwaythroughgrief.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Website</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/emily-thiroux-threatt/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">LinkedIn</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/Loving-and-Living-Your-Way-Through-Grief-105623437708464\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/emily_thiroux_threatt/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram</a></p><p><a href=\"https://twitter.com/ThreattEmily\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.pinterest.com/emilythirouxthreatt/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Pinterest</a></p><p><a href=\"https://www.griefandhappiness.com/pl/2147539051\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">The Grief and Happiness Alliance</a></p><p>Book: Emily Thiroux Threatt - <a href=\"https://www.amazon.com/Loving-Living-Your-Though-Grief/dp/1642504823/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Loving and Living Your Way Through Grief</a></p>","author_name":"Emily Thiroux Threatt"}
