But he does provide an insight into his thinking about the balancing act that must be struck. </p><p><br></p><p>They also discuss the risk posed to stability by <a href=\"https://www.irishtimes.com/politics/2023/09/12/qa-is-the-era-of-runaway-corporate-tax-receipts-over/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">unpredictable corporate tax receipts</a>, <a href=\"https://www.irishtimes.com/media/2023/09/13/rte-working-to-cut-costs-bakhurst-to-tell-oireachtas-media-committee-as-broadcaster-freezes-recruitment/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">the future for RTÉ </a>and whether Fine Gael still has something to offer in government beyond the next election.</p><p><br></p><p>And Mr Donohoe takes the opportunity to criticise <a href=\"https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/2023/09/02/pat-leahy-what-is-this-government-actually-for-beyond-not-being-sinn-fein/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Pat's argument that the Government is short on ideas. </a></p><p><br></p>","author_name":"The Irish Times"}
