On Dec. 1, UAW, one of the largest unions in the country, made history when it released a&nbsp;<a href=\"https://prismreports.org/2023/12/05/uaw-largest-us-union-call-for-ceasefire-gaza/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">ceasefire statement</a>. Other influential unions, such as the&nbsp;<a href=\"https://jacobin.com/2023/12/united-electrical-workers-union-cease-fire-gaza-solidarity\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">United Electrical Workers</a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https://apwu.org/news/international/statement-apwu-general-officers-conflict-israel-and-palestine\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">American Postal Workers Union</a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.1199seiu.org/media-center/1199seiu-nations-largest-healthcare-union-calls-gaza-ceasefire\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">1199SEIU</a>&nbsp;(United Healthcare Workers East), and countless other smaller unions have also released similar statements.
