As each season of WA Country Cricket comes and goes, one question that more and more Clubs have started to consider is the value of bringing in overseas players and what they might be able to bring to the Club in a multitude of ways. A quality and well credentialed player from England, Jono not only came to a WA regional Cricket Club over 20 years ago and took that Club from the lowest of lows to experiencing the ultimate for a Club to attain, but he also did something more significant than just winning a title ... he stayed ... and along the way helped re-build a club from the base up and create a culture that still stands today.
