What a cool episode, today we sit down with Everett and Dani from Montana Master Hunter program. We do talk about the Master Hunter program that they are building but the conversation around Falconry was fascinating. Everett recently started down the path of falconry and we dive into the complicated world of hunting with raptors. Everett's hawk Grinnell was actually in the studio and we got to watch it fly through the warehouse. Falconry is definitely more involved than I anticipated but truly enjoyed getting an inside look at a day in the life of a falconer.
We also talk about the Montana Master Hunter program and I really like what they are doing with bridging the gap between landowners and hunters. In an era where there is such a division between the two I think it is important to educate folks and take hunting to the next level.
