Hi, I’m Ruari. This is UNdamaged Goods, a podcast created to give inner-city young people, especially those out of mainstream school, a platform to voice their opinions and tell their stories. For this first series, I'm getting to know the students at The Hackney Boxing Academy.
In the first episode, T’rell & Gerry, two Year 11 students, and I are joined by radio DJ, actor, documentary maker, presenter and spoken word poet Mim Shaikh. We discuss the education system in the UK, family set-ups, council housing and growing up in London.
