Pornography and it's privacy provides not just a confessional context but a context for the liberation from the limits of the daily socialisation that comes with each culture. Cultures and socialising artifacts that are echoed by those within the culture create and perpetuate boundaries for self-expression, boundaries that limit what kind of connections and interactions one can have with oneself, others, and the environment.
\nThe sacredness of sexuality involves a return to the body, matter, ego, and social roles as an artform and as temples for spiritual practice, and thus sex done with appropriate intention can become a means for spiritual liberation.
