In this episode, I chat with Dr. Heather Zierhut, Courtney Cook, and Barry Tong about leadership opportunities for prospective and current genetic counselors that currently exist. We discuss the various resources and opportunities students and GCs can take advantage of to get involved in leadership roles, and how genetic counselors make great leaders. We also talk about the upcoming NSGC conference and the ways in which GCs and students can make the most out of this conference to learn about many leadership opportunities available to them!
