Who and What is God?","description":"
Who and What is God?

A: Thomas, can you tell us about God? Who is and what is God?

T: God is the Oneness. He’s everything. Humans break him down into different terms, whatever they can handle, whatever meets their needs. But God is the Oneness. It is everything.

A: So he/she

S: Is there gender to God?

T: No - only in certain humans’ minds

A: It shows up in different cultures based on the religion of a culture.

T: Right. However it is to be helpful. God is everything. In human terms, working through God, with God, things are so obvious and simple. And still a miracle.

A: So when you’re in the light, and you’re in the Oneness where you and all of the Guides are then there is no difference then, you are God?

T: No, in the Oneness I am not God. But God could not be without me. God is so much more than I am. There is this, in the light, there is this sense that this big, powerful, wonderful being is encompassing us all and in charge of everything. When we step back and break it down and look at it, we see it is us, it is the Oneness that is God. You can be in it and still feel very separate part of it.

A: Is God also consciousness? Is that the same or different than God?

T: I would say different. Consciousness implies more of a knowing. And God does many things unknowingly.

S: Is there a certain number of spiritual beings that make up the Oneness or God?

T: All of us.

S: So does the number of spiritual beings change or is it constant?

T: It is always changing. Because as humans come back into the light, it changes. And there are beings from the light going out at the same time so the number is constantly changing, Because when you come back to the light you are part of that Oneness.

S: Are there ever new spiritual beings being added?

T: In concept, yes, frequently. Being like the ones that you deem to be saints, like Mother Theresa, is. a new one. So yes, we are always adding to.

A: So God is not as many of us were taught, this male being who does or doesn’t, who takes a life or spares a life or - a lot of that is based on religious beliefs.

T: Right it is not like that at all.

A: In many ways we are like God, we’re aspects of God (yes), and we have a connection as that expressions.

T: Yes, you have the light. So that makes you part of it.

S: That is such a wonderful concept to learn. That we are part of God.

T: One of the, it could be a very powerful meditation, to meditate and picture yourself as a small child and you’re sitting on God’s lap. And that’s it. Just you sitting on God’s lap. And that can help you understand more - what God is.

S: Maddie has talked about doing that.

T: She’s done it several times, yes.

A: When we say, I always like the Bible verse, “Be still and know I am God”, the way I was raised that is attributed to Jesus?

T: Yes

A: To me that exemplifies his work as a healer in accessing his God consciousness. The I AM through him. My father and I are one. That he portrayed that in his life.

T: Even in the wording you use, I AM God.

A: Exactly. That is why the “I AM” to me, that is what it embodies. Because anything we say after it we put into our reality.

T: RIght, you limit it.

A: Exactly. It could be “I AM wonderful or I AM sick…” or I AM an artist or a writer, whatever or “I AM not well”, we immediately create.

T: Yes, when you do that you are immediately creating. But when you say I AM. You are simply being.

A: And that is the God principal or God Course that is within us.

T: Yes.

S: What about with creation. Is God the only one who creates? Or can a group of spiritual beings create? How does that work?

T: Groups can create. Individuals can create. In the groups that you do, you create energy. And you determine what to do with that energy. Where it is going, how it is being used. You’re creating. Things are always being created.

S: Maddie has talked about going on journeys where she’s in a class where they are creating planters and stars. (laughter)

T: It is very much like a classroom when she went there. Like they were drawing and picturing. IT was quite a process to watch, it’s quite interesting.

S: I did an off planet regression with someone who went to a planet where the beings were like Barney the dinosaur and what they did was make stars. They gathered the materials to make stars. That is a pretty neat job.

T: Everything you seem someone made that happen.

A: What do you say about when people pray to God?

T: It can be very effective because where they do that they are consciously opening themselves up. And calling to the Light. So it can be very effective. So much of dealing with the spiritual world is simply a matter of opening yourself up and letting it happen. Because they are all around and they are waiting for that invitation.

A: Is Elohim, did that mean God?

T: I suppose to some it could, but overall, no.

A: Is it another being of some kind or a guide?

T: It is really a combination of beings.

A: Like energy?

T: It’s calling in a certain energy to create a not really a presence but an energy combined of several different energies.

A: Is there a purpose? (haha) Why? (laughter) Nevermind. (More laughter)

T: Is there a purpose to anything? I suppose to them, they have a purpose in mind.

A: I come across that word in readings and to be it seems almost synonymous to God.

T: It more a concept of calling in different energies.

A: That brings up a ton of other questions but we’ll save that for a different topic.

T: OK

A: Is there anything else we want to know about God right now?

S: Probably. (Laughter) Burt nothing I can think of in the moment.

A&S: Thank you, Thomas.

T: Your’e welcome.
","author_name":"Awaken to the Light"}
