From a different time and with current tools, we address three key critical elements/gaps of Papanek's approach: feminism, queerism, orientalism. Together with the Design Academy Eindhoven graduates Lydia Hwang, Serina Tarkhanian and Dae Uk Kim, we focus on the notion of otherness and worlding in Papanek’s work, or the lack thereof and think of other futures by taking a closer look at their graduation projects.</p>","author_name":"Critical Inquiry Lab"}
