At Village In The City we're interested in building micro-local communities. Jason Sears, founder of VillageCo, has a slightly different yet related goal - building 'village-like' communities in large cities in the USA and then helping them become more local. Jason is using an open-source 'social gathering model' to do this, working in Seattle Washington and Boise Idaho.
