In this episode, Former Queensland Police Officer Vonny T talks about the job that was the initial trigger for her journey with PTSD.
\r\nOn the 24th of December, 2000, Vonny T attended two jobs in company with a male Sergeant at Albany Creek in Brisbane.
\r\nThe first job was the sudden death of a male person who's family members tried to resuscitate him.
\r\nThey then attended another residence where they were confronted by a man in an extremely agitated state who threatened Police whilst armed with a spade, pick axe handle, weight lifting bar, and an axe. The man refused to drop his weapons and continued advancing on Police who shot him.
