She has studied the female participation in the labour market over the past 200 year and uncovered the reasons for gender gaps in earnings and labour force participation.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Richard and Claes connect the findings from Goldin’s research to<strong>&nbsp;Universum's newly released global student survey</strong>. In the annual career survey, the students are among other things asked about pay expectations as well as career preferences.
