Continuing a few reflections on Mullingar, when I first went there in 2006, here's a few words about life there. Just opposite the Mullingar Arts Centre is the Courthouse. I used to think there was an ironic contrast between the two; on the one hand, the Arts Centre was a theatre of music and joy. and across the road the Circuit Court provided a very different type of theatre for different audiences.
