How we hang our worth on achievements,<br />\nwhether that's how much money we earn, or getting a promotion, or getting likes<br />\non a social media post we really get into this and how to get away from doing<br />\nthis because it ultimately isn't very satisfying. We'll talk about how to<br />\novercome over achieving, and this is different to high achieving by the way.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nOverachieving is going much too far<br />\nthan really is possible for a human being to go, and Mandy's had her own<br />\nexperience of this, shares loads of stories about how she's experienced this<br />\nand overcome it and how she helps other people to as well. We'll talk about why<br />\nperfectionism can be used as an escape from anxiety, as a way to not have to<br />\nfeel anxious if we are constantly striving. If we are trying to control what<br />\nother people think of us by putting on an image of perfection, we're trying to<br />\nprotect ourselves from feeling anxiety and yet the process of trying to be<br />\nperfect actually creates a lot anxiety in itself.<br />\n<br />\n<br />\n<br />\nMandy also shares her favorite<br />\npractical tools, there are loads of things that you kind of want to be making a<br />\nnote of and returning back to off this episode, and we also talk about how to<br />\nlive life more juicy.
