Their first solo show <a href=\"https://www.scotsman.com/arts-and-culture/edinburgh-festivals/comedy-review-crystal-rasmussen-presents-bible-2-live-underbelly-cowgate-edinburgh-1409840\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">‘Crystal Rasmussen presents the Bible 2’</a> was among the 20 best reviewed shows across the whole 2019 Fringe. Tom is also a writer, and after they spent five years dining out on stories of the drag and queer scenes in publications like the Guardian, Gay Times, <a href=\"https://www.dazeddigital.com/user/tomrasmussen\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Dazed &amp; Confused</a>, <a href=\"https://i-d.vice.com/en_uk/contributor/tom-rasmussen\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">i-D</a> and the Independent, Tom published their first book<a href=\"https://www.theguardian.com/global/2019/feb/03/crystal-rasmussen-diary-of-a-drag-queen\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"> Diary of a Drag Queen</a> (Penguin UK/FSG USA),&nbsp;which&nbsp;is now being developed for screen. Tom’s second book, <a href=\"https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/first-comes-love-9781526626875/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">First Comes Love</a>, is set for release with Bloomsbury in April 2021. They are currently working on their first novel, due for publication in 2022.
