Around the country, students are struggling to find their purpose in a system bent on conformity—and the problem has only gotten worse since COVID-19. For nearly a year, millions of children have been locked out their classrooms, without access to high-quality education. Meanwhile, parents have tried to step in and fill a void that, until now, has put the onus of education squarely on schools.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Until 125 years ago, learning took place in the world, not solely in the classroom. That changed with the industrial revolution. With or without a global pandemic, the currency of the modern world is innovative, creative thinking—not rote memorization—and most public-school systems simply aren’t equipped to provide this type of human-centered learning.&nbsp; We need to drastically rethink our societal approach to education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Connect with Marisa &amp; Kate: </p><p><br></p><p>Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/straightupfilms/</p><p><br></p><p>Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/StraightUpFilms/</p><p><br></p><p>Twitter - https://twitter.com/straightupfilms</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Follow The Story Box on Social Media</p><p><br></p><p>INSTAGRAM ► - <a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/thestoryboxpodcast/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.instagram.com/thestoryboxpodcast/</a>&nbsp;</p><p>TWITTER ► - <a href=\"https://twitter.com/jay_fantom\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://twitter.com/jay_fantom</a>&nbsp;</p><p>FACEBOOK ► -&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/thestoryboxpodcast\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.facebook.com/thestoryboxpodcast</a>&nbsp;</p><p>WEBSITE ► - <a href=\"https://thestoryboxpodcast.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://thestoryboxpodcast.com/</a></p><p><br></p><p>SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Apple Podcast&nbsp;► - <a href=\"https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-story-box/id1486295252\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-story-box/id1486295252</a>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Spotify&nbsp;► - <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/show/7h8Qv3r2ZV29f7ktJOwmgM?si=FXxYC1JFSHesBv7_d1WtNQ\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://open.spotify.com/show/7h8Qv3r2ZV29f7ktJOwmgM?si=FXxYC1JFSHesBv7_d1WtNQ</a>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>WATCH HERE:</p><p><br></p><p>YouTube ► - <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/c/TheStoryBox\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.youtube.com/c/TheStoryBox</a>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><em>If you enjoyed this episode please subscribe to </em><a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/c/TheStoryBox\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>YouTube</em></a><em> &amp; </em><a href=\"https://podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/the-story-box/id1486295252\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Apple Podcasts</em></a><em>, and leave a 5-star positive rating and review over on Apple Podcasts.
