There is much I discuss in this commentary, including some really cool photos of former LA punk venue The Masque which exists in Hollywood, pretty much untouched as a time capsule. I was lucky enough to be able to visit The Masque last year and my friend Megan Koester brought her camera. We have some amazing photos and I will share them with you in a supplemental post this week on the Patreon.
I am not the be all, end all, scholar of punk rock or the LA punk scene as it was in 1980. I am just a guy who knows some things and have talked to some people. I actually encourage you to read some books and watch some other films in this commentary track.
