If you haven’t heard of Sam Maggs, please let me introduce you. Sam is a freelance writer who is currently working on some comic books for IDW (Star Trek and Jem and the Holograms). She also writes video games at Bioware and is working on a game called Anthem, which comes out early next year. Sam might be best known for her books The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy and Wonder Women (which you may have seen in Issue One of The Sartorial Geek Magazine). She’s basically writing all the cool things all over the place.
The underlying theme of Sam’s work is awesome women, which is apparent in everything she does. I cannot more highly recommend following her everywhere @sammaggs and saying hello to her at a con or book signing if you have a chance!
