Heart of the Bookkeeper takes a bit of a tangent in this episode, as we commence a new sub series to the Podcast called ... Where are they now. Over the coming 12 months we will be tapping back into previous guests on the Podcast to explore how life and bookkeeping shapes for them now, in some cases a few years down the track since we last caught up with them. First in this series is Tanya Vann, who we caught up with in Episode 38 back in late 2024. Tanya at that point was a sub contract / employed Bookkeeper who had aspirations of potentially one day becoming a registered BAS Agent in her own right. This episode tracks Tanya's journey with trying to achieve that goal through the Tax Practitioner Board registration process and some of the difficulties and challenges that she had to confront and how she overcame them. It is a great listen, especially for anyone currently on a similar journey. Tanya's outlook ahead is extremely refreshing and will inspire many through this episode.
