Raised around fighting, Dan grew up watching his father and family members scrap, eventually finding his own path through judo, boxing and bare knuckle fighting. He opens up about the viral night out dressed as women that led to a fight, breaking his jaw in the ring, and how ADHD shaped his ability to stay focused on one thing. After years of drinking, fighting and trying to prove himself, Dan reveals how he reached one of the darkest points of his life, attempting to take his own life on his son's birthday in 2017. He speaks honestly about living with bipolar disorder, ADHD and suicidal thoughts, losing friends to suicide, and how the gym and fighting helped save him.
Today, Dan continues to fight while using his platform to raise awareness of autism, inspired by his son Theo, who is autistic and non-verbal. He talks about the challenges of raising a child with autism, the abuse he faced online, and the anger he felt when strangers targeted his son. From winning British and world titles to battling bulimia, addiction to alcohol and his own mental health, Dan shares how his children gave him a reason to keep going.
