Ahead of half-term, research has revealed that booking essential extras early could pay for a UK theatre break or return flights to New York City. It found that only half of us (49%) book airport parking straight after booking our holiday, with a third (30%) only thinking about it about a month before jetting off.
The average holidaymaker could save £310 per year by being organised with every element of their escape.
