Matt was one of our 12 Artists at Home. These words are ruthlessly stolen from Matt's website...</p><p><br></p><p>Matt Hulse is an artist, filmmaker, photographer, performer and writer. His films have screened at dozens of festivals and galleries in 25+ countries internationally.</p><p><br></p><p>He has been nominated thrice each for&nbsp;The Jarman Award&nbsp;and&nbsp;The Margaret Tait Awards. In 2019 he was one of ten artists commissioned to make a short film for Margaret Tait 100, celebrating the centenary of Orcadian filmmaker.</p><p>In 2017 he was the overall winner of Germany’s&nbsp;prestigious Felix Schoeller Photo Award.</p><p><br></p><p>2020 brings to light&nbsp;his&nbsp;third feature-length film, supported by Creative England and Creative Scotland –&nbsp;<a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h53N-XL1_YY\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">SOUND FOR THE FUTURE</a>&nbsp;– plus a number of short films, including SALT, a collaboration with singer-songwriter Sami Fitz (premiering at the Swedenborg Film Festival).</p><p><br></p><p>https://anormalboy.wordpress.com </p><p><br></p><p>Another massive THANKS to Matt for doing some jingles for his podcast! </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>We also want to say a huge THANK YOU to Culture Recovery Fund grants programme being administered by Arts Council England on behalf of the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport for awarding us a grant to help us through this period of crazy times!&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Arts Council England</strong>&nbsp;is the national development agency for creativity and culture.
