Mary reveals the history of the Irish keeners, their shamanic role in the transition between life and death, and how centuries of religious suppression nearly erased this extraordinary practice.

We also dive into the magical world of Irish folklore, exploring the mysterious fairy beings known as the Aos Sí, the haunting cries of the Banshee, enchanted fairy trees, and the ancient belief in an unseen world existing alongside our own.

Along the way, Mary shares remarkable personal experiences as we explore the power of sound frequencies, sacred chanting, ancestral wisdom, and the connections between Irish spiritual traditions and other ancient cultures around the world.

Mary also offers a rare and deeply moving live performance of a traditional Irish keen, giving us a powerful glimpse into the emotional and spiritual depth of this nearly forgotten art form.

This conversation explores life, death, music, magic, and the eternal mysteries of consciousness, reminding us that perhaps the boundary between worlds is much thinner than we imagine.
