This week, we caught up with the Irish alternative and shoegaze band NewDad. Singer, lyricist and guitarist Julie Dawson came with our little team to Kops Records in Toronto for a quick interview, where singer, lyricist and guitarist Julie walked us through their latest album ‘Altar’, we talked about the album being inspired by their hometown of Galway, their feelings after playing a very successful Coachella set, about going independent and sticking to your guns as a woman in the music industry.
