I caught up with Alex, aka DONT MAKE THIS WEIRD, a synthpop musician from Cardiff ahead of his headlining set at the Paddock Tavern in Toronto on Friday as part of NXNE festival. We talked influences, performance, why the pop girlies stay winning, and a surprise connection between Welsh rugby and queer culture.
