Strange things go on in my head. I may be thinking about supermarket trolleys, why I always eat too much at a Harvester and whether ducks know they’re swimming, but can you see the link between them all and what I end up talking about?
Well. This is the one where the title rather gives away the ending.
This week, we're carrying on the story of Tumourthy. There have been scans, appointments, specialists and an awful lot of waiting, but eventually there was only one way to find out exactly what was growing in my liver.
A biopsy.
And this is the episode where I finally got the answer.
It was cancer.
More specifically, a neuroendocrine tumour. Which meant I finally knew what Tumourthy was, but there were still an awful lot of things we didn't know, including where it had actually come from and what on earth we were going to do about it.
