We may not have chocolate but we do have the darling<s><span class=\"ql-cursor\">﻿﻿﻿</span></s> <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/album/7jnh1wrBrRrt7eGeSQTX5B\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Uma</a> - and we think you might just fall in love with her, as we did. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in Catalonia to a British mother and Thai father, Uma’s upbringing filled was filled with travel and cultural encounters that have inspired chords of empathy, and the affinity to those around her bleeds naturally into her music.&nbsp;With a background in classical violin training and later a degree at the University of York, Uma has continued grow in confidence, signing to Slow Dance Records and being spotted by taste maker <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCt7fwAhXDy3oNFTAzF2o8Pw\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Anthony Fantano</a>.</p><p><br></p><p>With an aspiration to continue creating with like-minded, young talent, Uma, with the help of Luke Bower (previous On Repeat guest, <a href=\"https://open.spotify.com/episode/4gQ6BY2h1gxI0g1EwGAmb1?si=C6HDdsRbQm6lHRZMzZsvXg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Lucy Lu</a>) set up a music residency entitled “Can Obert” in her house in Spain.
