But in truth that does not give her justice – she more of a physical therapist, a coach, a philosopher, sister, and psychologist rolled into one. She approaches pain not just from the acute place of injury, but rather also looks at your environment - relationships, how you breath, your daily habits, etc. She looks to understand not only your pain, but where you body is in terms of mobility, stability and strength.

This conversation of physical pain stemming from emotional or past physical trauma (e.g., giving birth, having surgery on your trunk area, etc.) is important. I love that Meghan also intertwines the importance of breathwork into her practice (did you know that you breath 20,000 times a day?!?!). In Meghan's eyes, breath is paramount to the healing journey, which is something that many PTs will not tell you or not ask you about.

You can find Meghan in sunny California or on the other side of a zoom call. She does consults across the world and is someone who really acts as a detective to understand your health.
